PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the following ordinances were approved for final adoption by the Township Council of the Township of Franklin at a Regular Meeting held on April 8, 2008:
ORDINANCE NO. 3750
AN ORDINANCE GRANTING MUNICIPAL CONSENT TO NEW JERSEY AMERICAN WATER COMPANY, INC. TO PERMIT THE CONSTRUCTION, EXPANSION AND MAINTENANCE OF WATER FACILITIES ON PUBLIC PROPERTY IN THE TOWNSHIP OF FRANKLIN IN ORDER TO FURNISH WATER SERVICE TO BLOCK 516, LOTS 7.01 AND 11.01
An ordinance granting municipal consent to New Jersey American Water Company, Inc. to extend water service and its facilities in the Township of Franklin in order to provide water services to sites known as Block 516, Lots 7.01 and 11.01 (Schoolhouse, Randolph and Weston Canal Roads area) and owned by Enterprise Infrastructure Holdings.

INTRODUCED ORDINANCE NO. 3751
The following Ordinance was Introduced and read for the first time at a regular meeting of the Township Council of the Township of Franklin, County of Somerset and State of New Jersey on April 8, 2008. This Ordinance will be further considered for final passage by the said Township Council, at the Municipal Complex, 475 DeMott Lane, Somerset NJ on May 13, 2008 at a meeting beginning at 7:00 pm, or at any time and place to which such meeting may be adjourned. All persons interested will be given the opportunity to be heard concerning such Ordinance. During the week prior to and up to and including the date of such meeting copies of the full ordinance will be available at no cost and during regular business hours, at the Clerk’s office for the members of the general public who shall request the same.

AN ORDINANCE AMEND THE CODE OF THE TOWNSHIP OF FRANKLIN, COUNTY OF SOMERSET, STATE OF NEW JERSEY, MORE PARTICULARLY CHAPTER 13, BOARDS, COMMISSIONS AND COMMITTEES, ARTICLE V, BUSINESS AND INDUSTRY ADVISORY BOARD, SECTION 13-11, MEMBERSHIP (add the following to its MEMBERSHIP: additional councilmember; school superintendent or designee; resident at-large.)
An Ordinance amending Chapter 13, Boards, Commissions and Committee to change the membership of the Business and Industry Advisory Board to add an additional Councilmember (increasing number to 3); add School Superintendent or Designee Member and a Resident At-Large Member.
