AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE CODE OF THE TOWNSHIP OF FRANKLIN, COUNTY OF SOMERSET, STATE OF NEW JERSEY, MORE PARTICULARLY, CHAPTER 54, POLITICAL CONTRIBUTIONS BY ADDING A NEW ARTICLE II, PROHIBITION OF ENTERING INTO OR AMENDING REDEVELOPMENT AGREEMENTS WITH CERTAIN CONTRIBUTORS.
An Ordinance to amending Chapter, 54, Political Contributions by adding a new Article II, Prohibition of Entering into or Amending Redevelopment Agreements with Certain Contributors.

The following Ordinance was Introduced and read for the first time at a regular meeting of the Township Council of the Township of Franklin, County of Somerset and State of New Jersey on May 8, 2007 and amended at a regular meeting of the Township Council of the Township of Franklin on June 12, 22007. This Ordinance will be further considered for final passage by the said Township Council, at the Municipal Complex, 475 DeMott Lane, Somerset NJ on June 28, 2007 at a meeting beginning at 9:00 am, or at any time and place to which such meeting may be adjourned. All persons interested will be given the opportunity to be heard concerning such Ordinance. During the week prior to and up to and including the date of such meeting copies of the full ordinance will be available at no cost and during regular business hours, at the Clerk’s office for the members of the general public who shall request the same.

An ordinance amending Chapter 62, Salaries and Compensation, Section 62-5 – Annual Compensation for full time white collar municipal employees by the restructuring of salary titles and salary ranges as per the Memorandum of Understanding dated May 31, 2007 between the Township of Franklin and AFSCME 2859 for the contract term July 1, 2005 through June 30, 2010.
