PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the following ordinances were approved for final adoption by the Township Council of the Township of Franklin at a Regular Meeting held July 14, 2009:
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CODE OF THE TOWNSHIP OF FRANKLIN, SOMERSET COUNTY, NEW JERSEY MORE PARTICULARLY CHAPTER 13, BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS, ARTICLE VII, EMERGENCY LIFE SUPPORT DELIVERY COMMITTEE.
An Ordinance Amending Chapter 13, Boards and Commissions, Article VII, Emergency Life Support Delivery Committee with changes to membership, meetings, coordinator, reports, votes, powers and duties and procedures.
ORDINANCE NO. 3834
AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWNSHIP OF FRANKLIN, COUNTY OF SOMERSET AND STATE OF NEW JERSEY, AUTHORIZING ACCEPTANCE OF STORM SEWER EASEMENT – JUAN CERDA - BLOCK 94/LOTS 27.01, 28.01, 29.01 AND 31.01 (F/K/A 27, 28. 29. 30 AND 31)
SUMMARY
An ordinance accepting the conveyance of a storm sewer easement from Juan Cerda in connection with the Cerda major Subdivision, Docket #PLN2005-0060 for Block 94, Lots 27.01, 28.01, 29.01 and 31.01 (formerly known as 27, 28, 29, 30 and 31.

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CODE OF THE TOWNSHIP OF FRANKIN, COUNTY OF SOMERSET, STATE OF NEW JERSEY, MORE PARTICULARLY CHAPTER 226, TRAFFIC AND VEHICLES, SECTION 226-17 – VEHICLES OVER DESIGNATED WEIGHT EXCLUDED FROM CERTAIN STREETS
This ordinance amends Code Chapter 226, Traffic and Vehicles, Section 226-17, Vehicles Over Designated Weight Excluded from Certain Street. Said changes result from NJDOT investigation and recent legislative changes regarding four-ton weight limits on township streets.

Ordinance amending Chapter 13, Boards and Commission. Article VI, Cable Television Committee by expanding its role regarding statewide franchise services; eliminating its role regarding receipt and response to complaints; specifying voting rights and timeframe the committee may operate.

An ordinance amending Code Chapter 260, Parks and Recreation, Section 260-11, Exclusive-Use Permits for Park Facilities by expanding the category of “softball” field to “athletic” field to include fields for other sports such as soccer, football and cricket.

An ordinance authorizing the acquisition by purchase or condemnation and the public sale of the following: Block 34.10, Lot 59.01 C1219, also known as 73 Amethyst Way, Unit G-1, Franklin Park.

SUMMARY
An ordinance amending the Traffic Ordinance to add the following stop intersections for streets in the area of Hillcrest, Girard and Irvington Avenues; the area of Baier Avenue/Hamilton Street/North Lawrence Avenue and provide regulations for the movement and the parking of traffic in Society Hill I including regulations for parking; stopping/standing prohibited; stop intersections; tow away and no passing zones.
