PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the following ordinances were approved for final adoption by the Township Council of the Township of Franklin at a Regular Meeting held November 10, 2009:
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CODE OF THE TOWNSHIP OF FRANKIN, COUNTY OF SOMERSET, STATE OF NEW JERSEY, MORE PARTICULARLY CHAPTER 112, DEVELOPMENT, ARTICLE XII, SIGN REGULATIONS.
An Ordinance to amend certain provisions of the Township’s signage regulations as contained in Article XII and Schedule 5, Sign Regulations.

ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE CODE OF THE TOWNSHIP OF FRANKLIN, COUNTY OF SOMERSET AND STATE OF NEW JERSEY, MORE PARTICULARLY CHAPTER 384, WATER, SECTION 284-19 – CURB CONNECTION CAPITAL FEE TO DECREASE FEES FOR FY2010.
An Ordinance Amending Code Section 384-19, Curb Connection Capital Fee to decrease fees for from FY2008 at $1,724.10 to FY2010 at $1,705.39 for the connection fee for one (1) equivalent unit.

INTRODUCED ORDINANCE NO. 3859
The following Ordinance was Introduced and read for the first time at a regular meeting of the Township Council of the Township of Franklin, County of Somerset and State of New Jersey on November 10, 2009. This Ordinance will be further considered for final passage by the said Township Council, at the Municipal Complex, 475 DeMott Lane, Somerset NJ on December 8, 2009 at a meeting beginning at 7:00 pm, or at any time and place to which such meeting may be adjourned. All persons interested will be given the opportunity to be heard concerning such Ordinance. During the week prior to and up to and including the date of such meeting copies of the full ordinance will be available at no cost and during regular business hours, at the Clerk’s office for the members of the general public who shall request the same.
ORDINANCE TO EXCEED THE MUNICIPAL BUDGET APPROPRIATION LIMITS AND TO ESTABLISH A CAP BANK (N.J.S.A. 40A:4-45.14)
An Ordinance authorizing the Township to exceed the Municipal Budget Appropriation Limits and to establish a Cap Bank as per N.J.S.A. 40A:4-45.14. The SFY 2010 budget year, the final appropriations of the Township of Franklin shall, in accordance with said ordinance and N.J.S.A. 40A:4-45.14, is proposed to be increased by 1%, amounting to $420,887.38. It also provides that any amount authorized in said ordinance that is not appropriated as part of the final budget shall be retained as an exception to final appropriation in either of the next two succeeding years.

An ordinance amending Code Chapter 260, Parks and Recreation, by removing the list of Township Trails from Article VIII, Trails, Section 260-41, Permitted Uses.
