AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE LEASE OF CERTAIN PREMISES OWNED BY THE TOWNSHIP OF FRANKLIN IN THE COUNTY OF SOMERSET AND STATE OF NEW JERSEY, KNOWN AS BLOCK 5.01/LOT 141 TO THE YOUTH RECREATIONAL GROUP TO USE FOR THE PROMOTION OF RECREATION FOR THE YOUTH (ALSO KNOWN AS THE KINGSTON SCHOOL PROPERTY, 25 LAUREL AVENUE)
An ordinance authorizing the execution of a lease between the Township of Franklin, as Lessor, and the Youth Recreational Group, as Lessee, of premises known as Block 5.01, Lot 141, commonly referred to as the Kingston School Property, located at 25 Laurel Avenue on the Tax Map of the Township of Franklin in the County of Somerset and State of New to use for the promotion of recreation for the youth for a period of one (1) year commencing December 10, 2007 and ending December 9, 2008 with the option of renewing said lease, upon notice, for two (2) additional one (1) year renewal periods.

INTRODUCED ORDINANCE NO. 3730
The following Ordinance was Introduced and read for the first time at a regular meeting of the Township Council of the Township of Franklin, County of Somerset and State of New Jersey on November 20, 2007. This Ordinance will be further considered for final passage by the said Township Council, at the Municipal Complex, 475 DeMott Lane, Somerset NJ on December 11, 2007 at a meeting beginning at 7:00 pm, or at any time and place to which such meeting may be adjourned. All persons interested will be given the opportunity to be heard concerning such Ordinance. During the week prior to and up to and including the date of such meeting copies of the full ordinance will be available at no cost and during regular business hours, at the Clerk’s office for the members of the general public who shall request the same.

SUMMARY
An ordinance accepting an easement restricting property known as Block 5.02, Lots 26.01 & 171 (Higgins Farm Property) for agricultural use only.

WHEREAS, the Open Public Meeting Act (P.L. 1975, Chapter 231) of the Laws of the State of New Jersey, Section 13 thereof, requires the public body, at least once each year within seven (7) days following the Annual Organization or Reorganization meeting of the public body, or by January 10th to provide notice of a schedule of regular meeting of said public body to be held during the succeeding year; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the COURIER NEWS, the PRINCETON PACKET and the HOME NEWS/TRIBUNE be and they are hereby designated as those newspapers to whom adequate notice must be given in accordance with Section 14; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the reasonable sum to be paid by an individual requesting copies of the Regular Meeting Schedule or revisions to same as specified in Section 14 3(d) shall be $20.00.
