PUBLIC NOTICE ADOPTED ORDINANCES
PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the following ordinances were approved for final adoption by the Township Council of the Township of Franklin at a Regular Meeting held November 25, 2008:
ORDINANCE NO. 3793
AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE CODE OF THE TOWNSHIP OF FRANKLIN, COUNTY OF SOMERSET, STATE OF NEW JERSEY, MORE PARTICULARLY, CHAPTER 112 THEREOF, ENTITLED LAND DEVELOPMENT, AMEND SUBSECTIONS 112-280(L) – LEEWOOD RENAISSANCE AT FRANKLIN REDEVELOPMENT AREA.
SUMMARY
An Ordinance amending the Redevelopment Plan of the Township of Franklin by amending the following subsection of Section 112-280: (L) – Leewood Renaissance at Franklin Redevelopment Area.
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CODE OF THE TOWNSHIP OF FRANKIN, COUNTY OF SOMERSET, STATE OF NEW JERSEY, MORE PARTICULARLY CHAPTER 226, TRAFFIC AND VEHICLES, SECTION 226-13 – PARKING PROHIBITED AT ALL TIMES ON CERTAIN STREETS – BERRY STREET.
This ordinance amends Code Chapter 226, Traffic and Vehicles, Section 226-13, Parking Prohibited at All Times on Certain Streets by adding Berry Street – east side from School to Camner Avenue and the west side from a point 37 feet south of Voorhees Avenue to Camner Avenue.
ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE CODE OF THE TOWNSHIP OF FRANKLIN, COUNTY OF SOMERSET, NEW JERSEY, CHAPTER 46, PERSONNEL POLICIES, SECTION 46-11, EMPLOYMENT BENEFITS – ADD NEW SUBSECTION O – DONATED LEAVE PROGRAM.
An ordinance amending the Franklin Township Municipal Code Chapter 46, Personnel Policies, Section 46-11, Employment Benefits by adding a new Subsection O – Donated Leave Program that provides an employee who has exhausted their own earned leave, and either themselves, or a family member, is suffering from a catastrophic health condition or injury which is expected to require a prolonged absence from work, to be provided with additional leave time up to 180 days.

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CODE OF THE TOWNSHIP OF FRANKIN, COUNTY OF SOMERSET, STATE OF NEW JERSEY, MORE PARTICULARLY CHAPTER 1, GENERAL PROVISIONS, ARTICLE II, GENERAL PENALTY, SUBSECTION 1-3, VIOLATIONS AND PENALTIES; Chapter 260, Parks and Recreation, Article II, Rules and Regulations, Subsection 260-6, Prohibited Activities; Article VI, Griggstown Native Grassland Preserve (Part of Ten Mile Run Greenway), Subsection 260-32, Violations and Penalties; Article VII, Negri-Nepote Native Grassland Preserve (Part of the Middlebush Greenway), Subsection 260-40, Violations and Penalties.
An ordinance amending Chapter 1, General Provisions, Article II, General Penalty, Subsection 1-3, Violations and Penalties to include trail violations and penalties and amending Chapter 260, Parks and Recreation in connection with the Griggstown Native Grassland Preserve and the Negri-Nepote Grassland Preserve by increasing the fine for violating the motor vehicle operation from $250 to $2000; clarify where dogs can and cannot be taken on open space and clarifies the definition of what constitutes prohibited vehicles.

This ordinance amends Article XXXIII, Affordable Housing Development Fees, of Chapter 112, Land Development, so as to revise the fees consistent with COAH’s Third Round Rules.
