AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CODE OF THE TOWNSHIP OF FRANKIN, COUNTY OF SOMERSET, STATE OF NEW JERSEY, MORE PARTICULARLY CHAPTER 112, DEVELOPMENT, SCHEDULE 7, FEES.
This ordinance amends Schedule 7, Fees of the Development Ordinance with the addition of Zoning Permit Fees.

AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE CODE OF THE TOWNSHIP OF FRANKLIN, COUNTY OF SOMERSET AND STATE OF NEW JERSEY, MORE PARTICULARLY CHAPTER 226 - VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC, REPEAL SECTION 226-15 – PARKING OF TRUCKS WEIGHING IN EXCESS OF 1,500 POUNDS ¾ TONS PROHIBITED AND REPLACE IT WITH A NEW SECTION 226-15 – OVERNIGHT PARKING AND AMEND SECTION 226-31 - Control of movement and parking on public and Board of Education properties
An ordinance repealing Traffic Code Section 226-15 - Parking of trucks weighing in excess of 1,500 pounds ¾ tons prohibited and replacing it with a new Section 226-15 – Overnight Parking and amending Traffic Code Section 226-31 (B) (1) by adding the property Somerset Mews Apartment Building with the regulation of No Stopping or Standing at all Times and the movement of prohibited on Reler Lane from the prolongation of Western curbline of Route 27 to a point 150 feet west on both the northerly and southerly curbline of Reler Lane.

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CODE OF THE TOWNSHIP OF FRANKIN, COUNTY OF SOMERSET, STATE OF NEW JERSEY, MORE PARTICULARLY CHAPTER 226, TRAFFIC AND VEHICLES BY ADDING A NEW SECTION 226-33 – RESIDENT PERMIT PARKING PROGRAM.
This ordinance amends Code Chapter 226, Traffic and Vehicles, with the addition of a new section 226-33 – Resident Permit Parking Program. The purpose of a permit parking program is to address a critical parking program that creates a public safety hazard; to establish a residential parking program in those areas of the Township in order to facilitate and make more convenient parking within the Township for persons who reside in those residential areas; to protect residential areas from excessive noise, trash and refuse caused by the entry of vehicles from outside that residential neighborhood; and to protect residents from unreasonable burdens in gaining access to their residence.
