Re:      Southern Park Report

Attached is a copy of the Southern Park Report that was approved by the Southern Park Ad Hoc Committee on Monday, November 9, 2009.   The report had been sent to committee members by mail and email prior to the meeting.  Present at the meeting were: Robert Mettler; Shirley Eberle; Dan Glicklich; Theodore Chase; and Randy Jones. I met with Barbara Lawrence prior to the meeting and she also approved the report.  I did not have a response from other members that were not in attendance.  

The Committee has asked that you forward the report to the Township Council for review.  Please let me know when this is scheduled for discussion so that I can let committee members know.  Also, the committee would like to have the report posted on the Township Website when you feel that it is appropriate to do so.

The Committee also discussed the Dunn and Gunther farms and felt that both houses could benefit from having tenant/caretakers. They are also not opposed to tenant restoration projects provided that strict schedules and guidelines are established and adhered to.

Prior to adjourning, the Committee recommend disbanding, as it has fulfilled its purpose regarding recommendations for a Southern Park.
