a)      Ordinance No. 3710, Amended – Amend Code Chapter 5, Administration of Government, Article II, Executive and Legislative, Section 5-4, Meetings of Township Council, Subsection B – Agenda.  (Ordinance amends agenda format for Township Council Meetings.)

 

b)      Ordinance No. 3712 – Amend Chapter 13, Boards, Commissions and Committees, Article I, Advisory Board of Health, Section 13-1, Members Appointed.  (Ordinance adds a Non-Voting Student Member to Advisory Board of Health.)

 

c)       Ordinance No. 3713  - Repeal Code Chapter 192, Flood Damage Prevention and Replace with new Chapter 192, Flood Damage Prevention as per NJ Department of Environment Protection Requirements.

 

d)      Ordinance No. 3714 – Capital Ordinance – Appropriate $538,000.00 for the Payment of the Pine Street Pump station Project.

 

e)       Ordinance No. 3715 – Authorize Granting of an Easement to Patriot Media and Communications for the provision of certain broadband communications services to Block 417.01/Lot 5.01 also known as 485 DeMott Lane (Township Library).

 

f)        Ordinance No. 3716 – Amend Traffic Code Chapter 226, Section 226-10, No Stopping or Standing Prohibited During Certain Hours on Certain Streets to delete “Waldorf Street – East Side – 24 hours – from Franklin Boulevard to Lovers Lane.”

 

16.             Introduction of Ordinances on First Reading

 

a)      Ordinance No. 3711 – Amend Code Chapter 50, Police Department, Section 50-10, Eligibility for Promotion by providing minimum accredited college and university degree requirements for promotion within police ranks.  Second reading, public hearing and further consideration of this ordinance is scheduled for October 9, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. in Council Chambers, Municipal Complex.

 

b)      Ordinance No. 3717 – Amend Traffic Code Chapter 226, Section 226-20, Stop Intersection by adding stop intersections in the Cedar Brook Drive/Rolling Road area.  Second reading, public hearing and further consideration of this ordinance is scheduled for October 9, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. in Council Chambers, Municipal Complex.

 

c)       Ordinance No. 3718 – Amend Development Code Chapter 112, Section 112-4, Definitions by amending definition of “setback.”  Second reading, public hearing and further consideration of this ordinance is scheduled for October 23, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. in Council Chambers, Municipal Complex.

 

d)      Ordinance No. 3719 – Amend Code Chapter 333, Streets and Sidewalks, Article I, Street Openings.  (Ordinance would eliminate the inspection escrow and include it in the permit fee, which would eliminate the $150 deposit required for each application.  The proposed permit fee would be based on the square feet of the road opening and no portion of the fee would be returned.)  Second reading, public hearing and further consideration of this ordinance is scheduled for October 9, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. in Council Chambers, Municipal Complex.

(This Agreement is to amend the previously executed Interlocal Agreement dated June 21, 2005 reducing the amount of the EDIP funds by $56,000.00.
