The Township
Manager serves as Chief Executive Officer for Franklin Township, whereas
the Mayor is "Chairman of the Board." The
Manager is hired by and serves at the pleasure of the nine members of
Township Council. It is the job of the Township Manager to carry out
the policies of the Township Council and to ensure that Township operations
fulfill the customer service mission of Franklin Township.
