Recent Commission Accomplishments Include:

The Green Forum 2010 was held on Saturday April 17, 2010 at the Franklin Township Municipal Building, marking the 40th Anniversary of Earth Day.
Helping to create the Township Open Space trust fund, as well as greenways and wildlife corridors.
Obtaining grants to create informative brochures regarding trails, trees and natural resources for the township Bunker Hill Environmental Center.
Distributing over 1,000 evergreen seedlings as part of our community outreach and education along with the Shade Tree Commission.
Fighting to prevent construction of billboards along Route 287 in Franklin Township.
Performing a water quality study of the township streams and water corridors that was funded by the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection.
