PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the following ordinances were approved for final adoption by the Township Council of the Township of Franklin at a Regular Meeting held July 13, 2010:

AN ORDINANCE TO ACQUIRE BY PURCHASE OR CONDEMNATON CERTAIN LANDS WITHIN THE TOWNSHIP OF FRANKLIN, SOMERSET COUNTY FOR OPEN SPACE AND/OR FARMLAND PURPOSES (DUCHAI FARM, 455 CANAL ROAD, BLOCK 59.01, LOT 3.02)
An ordinance authorizing the acquisition by purchase or condemnation the following property for open space and/or farmland preservation purposes: Duchai Farm located at 455 Canal Road within the Township also known as Block 59.01, Lot 3.02, +/- 14.06 acres.

INTRODUCED ORDINANCE NO. 3889-10
The following Ordinance was Introduced and read for the first time at a regular meeting of the Township Council of the Township of Franklin, County of Somerset and State of New Jersey on July 13, 2010. This Ordinance will be further considered for final passage by the said Township Council, at the Municipal Complex, 475 DeMott Lane, Somerset NJ on August 10, 2010 at a meeting beginning at 7:00 pm, or at any time and place to which such meeting may be adjourned. All persons interested will be given the opportunity to be heard concerning such Ordinance. During the week prior to and up to and including the date of such meeting copies of the full ordinance will be available at no cost and during regular business hours, at the Clerk’s office for the members of the general public who shall request the same.
ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE CODE OF THE TOWNSHIP OF FRANKLIN, COUNTY OF SOMERSET AND STATE OF NEW JERSEY, MORE PARTICULARLY CHAPTER 180, FEES TO COMPLY WITH NEW JERSEY STATE LEGISLATION REGARDING FEES CHARGED FOR PUBLIC RECORDS.
An ordinance amending Chapter 180, Fees to comply with legislation adopted on June 28, 2010 regarding fees charged for public records. Said fees have been reduced to comply with legislation that requires $0.05 for letter size or smaller copies and $0.07 for legal size or larger copies or only the cost of the medium can be charged.
