PUBLIC NOTICE ORDINANCES ADOPTED

 

PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the following ordinance was approved for final adoption by the Township Council of the Township of Franklin at a Regular Meeting held August 9, 2011:

 

ORDINANCE NO. 3942-11

 

AN ORDINANCE repealing ordinance no. 3917-10 entitled, “AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PRIVATE SALE OF TOWNSHIP OWNED LAND LOCATED IN Block 535, Lot 3IN THE TOWNSHIP OF FRANKLIN, COUNTY OF SOMERSET, STATE OF NEW JERSEY” and AUTHORIZING THE PRIVATE SALE OF TOWNSHIP OWNED LAND LOCATED IN Block 535, LotS 1 & 2 IN THE TOWNSHIP OF FRANKLIN, COUNTY OF SOMERSET, STATE OF NEW JERSEY.

 

SUMMARY

 

An ordinance repealing Ordinance No. 3917-10 and authorizing the private sale of Township owned land located in Block 535, Lots 1 and 2 to Bekus as required by Docket No. ZBA-08-00006.

 

ORDINANCE NO.  3943-11

 

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CODE OF THE TOWNSHIP OF FRANKLIN, SOMERSET COUNTY, NEW JERSEY, MORE PARTICULARLY §112-200 HISTORIC DISTRICT OVERLAY, OF CHAPTER 112, LAND DEVELOPMENT.

 

SUMMARY

 

An Ordinance to amend Chapter 112, Land Development, Article XXV, Environmental and Historic Resources by deleting §112-200, Historic District Overlay in its entirety and replacing it with a new section § 112-200, Historic Preservation Advisory Commission, which details the establishment of the Commission and defines its duties and responsibilities, the application procedure and the standards for review of applications and the historic designation process.

INTRODUCED ORDINANCE NO. 3946-11

 

The following Ordinance was Introduced and read for the first time at a regular meeting of the Township Council of the Township of Franklin, County of Somerset and State of New Jersey on August 9, 2011.  This Ordinance will be further considered for final passage by the said Township Council, at the Municipal Complex, 475 DeMott Lane, Somerset NJ on September 13, 2011 at a meeting beginning at 7:00 pm, or at any time and place to which such meeting may be adjourned.  All persons interested will be given the opportunity to be heard concerning such Ordinance.  During the week prior to and up to and including the date of such meeting copies of the full ordinance will be available at no cost and during regular business hours, at the Clerk’s office for the members of the general public who shall request the same.

 

AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE CODE OF THE TOWNSHIP OF FRANKLIN, COUNTY OF SOMERSET AND STATE OF NEW JERSEY, MORE PARTICULARLY CHAPTER 226 - VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC, SECTION 226-30 (ON STREET HANDICAPPED PARKING SPACE (ADD 234 PHILLIPS ROAD, APT. 145A & 83 AMBROSE STREET)

 

SUMMARY

 

An ordinance providing one (1) on-street handicapped parking space in front of 234 Phillips Road, Apt. 145A and 83 Ambrose Street.

SUMMARY

 

An ordinance amending the Code, Chapter 180, Fees, with the addition of Article IX, Payments via ACH or Credit Cards for the Tax and Water Departments.
