PUBLIC NOTICE ORDINANCE NO. 3879-10 ADOPTED
PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the following ordinance was approved for final adoption by the Township Council of the Township of Franklin at a Regular Meeting held May 11, 2010:
ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PRIVATE SALE OF CERTAIN TOWNSHIP OWNED REAL PROPERTY IDENTIFIED ON THE TOWNSHIP’S TAX MAPS AS BLOCK 150, LOT 42 IN CONNECTION WITH THE RENAISSANCE 2000 REDEVELOPMENT
An Ordinance authorizing the Township’s private sale of certain Township owned real property identified on the Township’s Tax Maps as Block 150, Lot 42, to the Redevelopment Agency of the Township of Franklin, for ultimate conveyance to Leewood Renaissance @ Franklin, LLC, in connection with the Renaissance 2000 Redevelopment and a certain Redevelopment Agreement as identified herein.

The bond ordinance, the summary terms of which are included herein, has been finally adopted by the Township Council of the Township of Franklin, in the County of Somerset, State of New Jersey on May 11, 2010 and the twenty (20) day period of limitation within which a suit, action or proceeding questioning the validity of such ordinance can be commenced, as provided in the Local Bond Law, has begun to run from the date of the first publication of this statement. Copies of the full ordinance are available at no cost and during regular business hours, at the Clerk’s office for members of the general public who request the same. The third revision of the RFQ/RFP schedule will be faxed to all companies who have received a copy of the proposal package.
A supplemental, non-mandatory inspection of the facilities is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. April 27, 2010. Interested parties should meet at 40 Churchill Avenue, Somerset.
The new deadline for interested companies to submit questions is 4:30 p.m. on April 29, 2010. They should be submitted to Purchasing in writing via fax 732-873-1059 or e-mail joyce.miller@twp.franklin.nj.us.
The deadline to submit proposals is 11:00 a.m. on June 10, 2010.
