PUBLIC NOTICE ORDINANCES ADOPTED
PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the following ordinances were approved for final adoption by the Township Council of the Township of Franklin at a Regular Meeting held April 13, 2010:
ORDINANCE NO. 3871-10
AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE CODE OF THE TOWNSHIP OF FRANKLIN, COUNTY OF SOMERSET AND STATE OF NEW JERSEY, MORE PARTICULARLY, CHAPTER 142, GARBAGE, RUBBISH AND REFUSE, ARTICLE V, REFUSE CONTAINERS/DUMPSTERS, SECTION 142-36, ENFORCEMENT.
SUMMARY
An ordinance amending the enforcement of Chapter 142, Garbage and Rubbish and Refuse, Article V, Refuse Containers/Dumpsters. The amendment changes the enforcement provision to “proper designated authority of the Township of Franklin as designated by the Township Manager”.

AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE CODE OF THE TOWNSHIP OF FRANKLIN, COUNTY OF SOMERSET AND STATE OF NEW JERSEY, MORE PARTICULARLY, CHAPTER 201 SEWERS & SEWAGE DISPOSAL, ARTICLE VI, PRIVATE STORM DRAIN INLET RETROFITTING, SECTION 201-38, ENFORCEMENT.
SUMMARY
An ordinance amending the enforcement of Chapter 201, Sewers & Sewage Disposal, Article VI, Private Storm Drain Inlet Retrofitting. Said amendment changes the enforcement provision to “proper designated authority of the Township of Franklin as designated by the Township Manager”.

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CODE OF THE TOWNSHIP OF FRANKLIN, COUNTY OF SOMERSET, NEW JERSEY, MORE PARTICULARLY CHAPTER 333, STREETS AND SIDEWALKS WITH THE ADDITION OF NEW ARTICLE VI, PERSONAL PROPERTY AND ARTICLE VII, ROLL-OFF DUMPSTERS AND ROLL-OFF CONTAINERS.
An Ordinance amending Code Chapter 333, Streets and Sidewalks with the addition of new Article VI, Personal Property and new Article VII, Roll-off Dumpsters and Roll-off Containers.
ORDINANCE NO. 3875-10
ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 112 “ZONING AND SUBDIVISION ORDINANCE OF THE TOWNSHIP OF FRANKLIN” OF THE TOWNSHIP CODE OF THE TOWNSHIP OF FRANKLIN, COUNTY OF SOMERSET, STATE OF NEW JERSEY SO AS TO REGULATE BILLBOARDS.
This ordinance amends provisions of Chapter 112 of the Township Code so as to regulate the erection of billboards within the Township. The purpose of this ordinance is to balance the need to control and regulate billboards, promote and preserve the scenic beauty and character of the Township, provide for the safety and convenience of the public, and to recognize certain Constitutional rights relative to outdoor advertising. The ordinance regulates various aspects pertaining to the establishment, use, maintenance and removal of billboards within the Township including location, spacing, number, size and design, and illumination of billboards.

The bond ordinance, the summary terms of which are included herein, has been finally adopted by the Township Council of the Township of Franklin, in the County of Somerset, State of New Jersey on April 13, 2010 and the twenty (20) day period of limitation within which a suit, action or proceeding questioning the validity of such ordinance can be commenced, as provided in the Local Bond Law, has begun to run from the date of the first publication of this statement. Copies of the full ordinance are available at no cost and during regular business hours at the Clerk’s office for members of the general public who request the same. The following is submitted as the Hamilton Street Special Improvement District Budget for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2010 and ending June 30, 2011.
