The Township Council at their February 26, 2008 meeting issued a proclamation enthusiastically endorsing the National Education Association’s Read Across America and Read Across America—NJ programs and recommits “our community to engage in programs and activities to make America’s children the best readers in the world.” Everyone is encouraged to read with their children on March 3, 2008, the 104^th birthday of Theodore Seuss Geisel (Dr. Seuss).
