Franklin Township Proclamations

 


The Township Council issued commendations to former  Township employees in honor of their recent retirements:
    • Ray Adams, 22 years in the Public Works Water Maintenance Division
    • Barbara H. Brown, 8 years as Municipal Building receptionist
    • Marc D. Dashield, 8 years, various positions, including Assistant Township Manager, Acting Township Clerk, and Director of Finance and Chief Financial Officer.
    • Frank Hasner, 25 years, various positions, including Zoning Officer and Director of Economic Development

The Township Council issued a commendation to the Franklin Memorial Post 8025 of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. They were incorporated in 1978 and actively served the Township in many civic events. They donated the remainder of their treasury, $2,856, for the Veterans Memorial when they disbanded in 2006.

The Township Council issued a proclamation endorsing the National Education Association’s Read Across America, recommitting Franklin to programs and activities to make America’s children the best readers in the world.


The Township Council issued a proclamation naming March, 2007 “Women’s History Month—Generations of Women Moving History Forward.”
