The Township Council at their April 22, 2008 meeting issued the following  proclamations

· Friday, April 25, 2008 Arbor Day in Franklin Township, encouraging all residents to plant, conserve and care for trees throughout the Township. Franklin Township was named Tree City again in 2007.

· Thursday, May 1, 2008 Silver Star Day as a permanent and official day to honor all wounded members of the Armed Forcse.

· April, 2008 Autism Awareness Month.
