FRANKLIN’S PROCLAMATIONS HONOR
CURRENT AND FUTURE STARS

FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP, New Jersey—May 9, 2006—The Franklin Township Council at their May 9th meeting had five proclamations. Franklin residents can watch the presentations, as well as the entire council meeting, on local government access channel FTTV-25.


Council proclaims May 19 to May 21, 2006 Lion’s Club Convention Days. The 85th annual state convention will be held during this time at the Doubetree Hotel in Somerset.

Council proclaims May, 2006 Older Americans Month

 


Council proclaims May 6-13, 2006 National Safe Kids Week in support of the publication education campaign and safety initiative called “Safe Pools for Safe Kids”  to promote safe swimming pool, hot tub and spa environments.

 



Council proclaims May 22-June 4, 2006 Click It or Ticket to draw attention and increase awareness of the mobilization and benefits of safety belt use.
