FRANKLIN’S PROCLAMATIONS HONOR
THE WEEK OF THE PEOPLE

The Township Council issued a commendation to DANIEL J. KRUSHINSKI, Chief of the East Franklin Fire Department. The Chief and those serving in the Department, like all other fire departments in the Township, are all volunteer

The Chief joined the Department in 1996 and became Chief in 2001. He was commended for his excellent fire ground skills, introduction of the first zero tolerance policy for alcohol, safety and survival training, seat belt policy and morale builder during a very difficult year.

In addition, the Chief was commended for his dedication, compassion, work and accomplishments on behalf of all firefighters, and most especially in memory of and for the family of fire fighter Kevin Apuzzio, who died while fighting a house fire on April 11, 2006.
