The Township Council at their July 8, 2008 meeting presented a commendation to Franklin’s Wolgast Tree Farm for its participation in the River-Friendly Farm Program

May 27, 2008

The Township Council at their May 27, 2008 meeting issued the following  commendations, Winners of the Franklin Township Handwashing—It’s a SNAP! Winners; and Franklin's Shade Tree Commission and volunteers for their participation in the Township’s April 25, 2008 Arbor Day planting of 30 maple and flowering plum trees in Nassau Park; and The Arsha Bodha Center on the occasion of their 8th anniversary

The Township Council at their April 22, 2008 meeting issued the following  proclamations - Arbor Day in Franklin; Tree City; Silver Star Day; and Autism Awareness Month

April 8, 2008 The Township Council issued a proclamation on April 8, 2008 recognizing the Franklin Woman’s Club for their service to Franklin Township since 1922 and their 80-year membership in the state and national federation of women’s clubs
