REQUIREMENTS
All
residents must present valid driver's license and vehicle registration
for proof of residence.
There
is a limit of ONE (1) Five-Time pass for trucks/vans and Class
II vehicles per season. NO EXCEPTIONS.
No
trailers or truck beds longer than 8 feet. No rack body, flat bed
vehicles, or cube vans are allowed.
Limit
of 4 car tires per season per residence (tires must be off the
rim).
All
leaves must be in brown recyclable paper leaf bags. Free replacement bag for each brown paper recyclable bag of leaves brought in.
All
newspaper, cardboard, cans and glass bottles must be sorted as
required and deposited in proper receptacles

KEEP
FRANKLIN CLEANIts the Law Township Litter Ordinance
In an attempt to
keep the roadways and parks clean, the Township has a strict litter
ordinance. It is unlawful to dump rubbish OF ANY KIND on any publicly
owned property or property belonging to another Franklin landowner.
Please note that this includes, among other things, trash, building
materials, leaves, grass and animal feces. The ordinance states:
No person shall throw, cast, deposit, drop, scatter, or leave or cause
to be thrown, cast, laid, deposited, scattered or left in or upon any street,
alley, sidewalk, park, or other public place in the Township or upon any private
property not owned by such person any coal, ash, dirt, trash, garbage, gravel,
sand, sawdust, shavings, hay, straw, leaves, offal, vegetable matter of any kind,
dead animals or putrescible matter of any kind or building materials of any kind. (Code
of the Township of Franklin, Chapter 142, Article 15)
