Franklin Township Community/Senior Center Rental

The Franklin Township Community/Senior Center is available for rental by the community. The facility offers three spacious rooms. Included are some of the necessary requirements for rental of the facility.

The Township requires a certificate of insurance naming the Township of Franklin additionally insured in the amount of $1,000,000.00 per occasion and $100,000 property damage.  This can often be done through one’s homeowner’s/apartment insurance or by inquiring at one’s local insurance office for price information.

The rental costs are as follows:

Hourly Rental Rates
$100.00/hour/per room for a minimum of 2 hours
$40.00/hour for each additional hour per room
$40.00/hour for the kitchen
$20.00 non-refundable permit fee(becomes part of 1st hour rent and can be waived by the Director of Parks & Recreation)
Corporate Rate: 75% of Hourly Rental Rate
Resident Rate:  50% of Hourly Rental Rate
Non-Profit and Community Group Rate: 25% of Hourly Rental Rate

Exclusions:

  1. No alcohol permissible without Franklin Township Police support
  2. No For-profit events
  3. Facility available until 10:00 p.m. only
  4. All parties must obtain approval from the Franklin Township Health Department if serving food at an event.
