The following meeting(s) have been scheduled by the Township Council of the Township of Franklin, County of Somerset and State of New Jersey:

DATE:	Tuesday, August 13; Tuesday, September 10 September 9 & Tuesday October 8, 2002
TIME:	7:00 pm 7:30 pm
PURPOSE:	Presentations to the public on the question to appear on the ballot for the November 5, 2002 Election for an amendment to the Township's Charter to provide for an Elected Mayor.

DATE:	Monday, September 9, 2002
TIME:	8:00 pm
PURPOSE:	Regular Meeting of the Township Council instead of Tuesday, September 10, 2002 to permit appropriate commemoration of the Anniversary of the September 11, 2001 Terrorist attack

All meetings will be held at the Municipal Building/Council Chambers, 475 DeMott Lane, Somerset NJ unless otherwise noted above.
