The Franklin Township Police Department Community Relations Bureau (CRB) serves as a liaison between law enforcement and the community, promoting understanding, trust, and collaboration through various programs, initiatives, and outreach efforts aimed at enhancing public safety and building positive relationships.

Franklin Township Youth Police Academy
Our commitment to community outreach extends to the younger generation with the Youth Police Academy tailored for 8th to 12th graders. This program aims to educate and inspire the leaders of tomorrow, fostering a positive relationship between law enforcement and our youth.
Only applicants that have not had any negative interaction or criminal charges with the police will be accepted into the program.
This program is for 8th-12th graders only. Due to limited seating only 30 Cadets will be accepted.
Date: July 10-11th, July 14-18th
Times: 8:00am-3:30pm
Location: Franklin High School, 500 Elizabeth Ave, Somerset
Orientation Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at 495 DeMott Lane, Somerset
