Route 27 Commercial Fire

Franklin Township (Somerset), NJ — Franklin Township Acting Public Safety Director Lloyd Fredericks announces that an investigation is ongoing following a commercial fire in Franklin Township.  On Friday, January 30^th at approximately1446 hours the FTPD responded to a business located on Route 27 following the report of a fire in a commercial kitchen.  

Firefighters from Griggstown, Little Rocky Hill and Franklin Park Fire Companies extinguished the fire.  An employee of the business suffered a minor injury and was treated at the scene by RWJUH EMS. The Franklin Township Fire Prevention Department is currently investigating the cause of the fire.  Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Director of Fire Prevention, John Hauss, at 732-873-2500 extension 6305.
