International Dark Sky Week is a global celebration of the night. From the darkness that supports critical wildlife ecosystems to the star-filled skies we enjoy, the night is filled with wonder and importance. Visitors will be able to take a short hike at dusk led by members of the Trails Advisory Committee, followed by a public observation guided by the Franklin Township Astronomy Club.
Visitors should dress appropriately and wear appropriate footwear for the cooler weather, ground conditions, and a hike. Chairs and/or blankets, as well as personal telescopes, are permitted. Insect repellent is strongly recommended!
