03/01/2026
A Somerset, NJ resident was the victim of a theft in the area of JFK Blvd. during the overnight hours. The unknown suspect(s) stole the victim’s motor vehicle and left evidence of broken glass behind in the area of the parking stall. The vehicle was entered stolen into a national database. The vehicle was later located, unoccupied, in an outside jurisdiction.
A Somerset, NJ resident was the victim of a burglary and criminal mischief in the area of JFK Blvd. during the overnight hours. The unknown suspect(s) broke a window and the door locking mechanism on the victim’s vehicle. Nothing of value was taken from the vehicle. The damage was valued at $1,700.00.
A Somerset, NJ resident was the victim of theft by deception between 02/20/26 and 03/01/26. An unknown male suspect contacted the victim via phone and advised that her accounts have been compromised. The victim provided the suspect with sensitive personal information over the phone. The victim also met an unknown Hispanic male and Asian male in person and gave them $1,045.00 and two of her bank cards before realizing she was the victim of a scam.

A Somerset, NJ resident was the victim of a theft in the area of Kossuth St. during the overnight hours. The unknown suspect(s) stole the victim’s motor vehicle. Within the vehicle was personal property valued at $1,045.00. The vehicle was entered stolen into a national database. The vehicle was later located, unoccupied, in an outside jurisdiction.

A Somerset, NJ resident was the victim of wrongful impersonation. The victim’s purse was stolen during 2023. As a result, the victim has been subject to multiple incidents of fraudulent activity. The victim received toll violations in the amount of $192.00 that were linked to a vehicle that does not belong to her.
Patrol responded to a house of worship located in the area of Franklin Blvd. on a report of an unwanted person. A black male walked around the facility without permission while school was in session. His behavior was reported to be unusual in nature. The suspect left prior to the arrival of patrol. The suspect was identified and a summons was mailed to him for defiant trespassing. “NOTE: We are required by the Rules of Court to include herein a statement explaining that the charges are merely an accusation, and that the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.”
A business located in the area of Weston Canal Rd. was the victim of a theft during an unknown time frame. The unknown suspect(s) stole a license plate off a trailer belonging to the business. The plate was entered stolen into a national database.

Courtney M. Limbach, 34, of Somerset, NJ was arrested for an outstanding warrant out of our jurisdiction. Limbach was processed and transported to the Somerset County Jail. “NOTE: We are required by the Rules of Court to include herein a statement explaining that the charges are merely an accusation, and that the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.”
A Piscataway, NJ resident was the victim of a theft in the area of Atrium Dr. during the overnight hours. The unknown suspect(s) stole the victim’s vape, which was valued at $35.00.
A business located in the area of Belmont Dr. was the victim of a theft between 01/14/26 and 02/03/26. The unknown suspect(s) stole an EZ-Pass from a company vehicle. The suspect(s) incurred charges totaling $793.49 using the stolen EZ-Pass.
A Somerset, NJ resident was the victim of wrongful impersonation. The victim attempted to purchase groceries with her SNAP benefits and the transaction was declined. Further investigation revealed the unknown suspect(s) spent $2,200.00 of the victim’s benefits at various locations in outside jurisdictions.
A business located in the area of Hamilton St. was the victim of a shoplifting during the evening hours. An employee observed a black male exit the store with unpaid merchandise protruding from his jacket pockets. The merchandise was valued at $16.00. The suspect is known to the business as a frequent shoplifter

A Somerset, NJ resident was the victim of a burglary and theft in the area of Hamilton St. during the morning hours. An unknown black male and black female were observed on surveillance entering the victim’s unlocked vehicle while she was inside of a business. The suspects stole $1,810.00 from the vehicle.
A Somerset, NJ resident was the victim of theft by deception on 02/28/26. The victim paid a “Ricky Perez” $1,100.00 for a puppy to be shipped from Texas. On 03/04/26, the suspect requested an additional $2,000.00 from the victim to have the puppy shipped. The victim requested a refund of the original payment and the suspect claimed he sent the puppy. The suspect could no longer be reached.
A Somerset, NJ resident was the victim of a theft in the area of Berry St. during the afternoon hours. A black female was captured on surveillance making a Door Dash delivery to a nearby residence. She then stole the victim’s delivered packages. The contents were valued at $96.00. The suspect has been identified.

A business located in the area of Rt. 27 was the victim of a burglary, theft, and criminal mischief during the overnight hours. The suspects smashed a window in the rear of the business to gain entry. The suspects broke into a safe and stole $30,100.00. They also cut wires to a computer and stole a hard drive valued at $6,000.00. John E. Anderson, 60, of Egg Harbor City, NJ and Samuel J. Anderson, 62, of Toms River, NJ were charged with burglary, theft, and criminal mischief after an investigation revealed they were the suspects. “NOTE: We are required by the Rules of Court to include herein a statement explaining that the charges are merely an accusation, and that the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.”
Virginia May, 63, of Somerset, NJ was arrested for DWI during a motor vehicle crash investigation in the area of Easton Ave. May was processed and released with a pending court appearance. “NOTE: We are required by the Rules of Court to include herein a statement explaining that the charges are merely an accusation, and that the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.”

Ciril Zagar Jr., 32, of Middlesex, NJ was arrested for an outstanding warrant out of our jurisdiction by Middlesex Borough PD. The FTPD took custody of Zagar Jr. and transported him to the Somerset County Jail after he was processed. “NOTE: We are required by the Rules of Court to include herein a statement explaining that the charges are merely an accusation, and that the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.”
Rajesh K. Patel, 57, of Somerset, NJ was arrested for DWI during a motor vehicle stop in the area of Amethyst Way. Patel was processed and released with a pending court appearance. “NOTE: We are required by the Rules of Court to include herein a statement explaining that the charges are merely an accusation, and that the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.”
A Somerset, NJ resident was the victim of a fraud. The unknown suspect(s) altered a check that the victim placed in the mail. A copy of the fraudulent check revealed that it was made out to a “Bianca Pinkerton.” The victim suffered a loss of $1,649.16.
