The unknown suspect(s) broke the window to the victim’s vehicle to gain entry. Once inside, the suspect(s) damaged the victim’s ignition in a possible attempt to steal the vehicle. The total damage was valued at $800.00.

A Somerset, NJ resident was the victim of cyber harassment on 05/10/26. The unknown suspect(s) hacked the victim’s phone and threatened to share photos of the victim with his contacts. The suspect(s) demanded $500.00 and the victim obliged under the assumption that the photos would not be shared.  The victim paid the suspect with an Apple gift card.

The unknown suspect convinced the victim to purchase $300.00 worth of gift cards in order to claim a $2 million dollar prize. The victim suffered a loss of $300.00 after she provided the suspect with the serial numbers listed on the gift cards.

A Metuchen, NJ resident was the victim of a theft while at a hotel located in the area of Atrium Dr. during the daytime hours. The unknown suspect(s) stole a wallet from the victim’s purse while it was left unattended during a training conference. The wallet contained $400.00 and multiple debit/credit cards. Dale Goodman, 75, of Somerset, NJ was issued a summons for defiant trespassing during an investigation at a hotel located in the area of Cottontail Ln. Goodman refused to leave at the request of management. Goodman was issued a summons after she was formally trespassed by patrol and still refused to leave after multiple requests to do so. “NOTE: We are required by the Rules of Court to include herein a statement explaining that the charges are merely an accusation, and that the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.”

A Somerset, NJ resident was the victim of criminal mischief in the area of Veronica Ave. during the evening hours. The unknown suspect threw an object at the victim’s vehicle during an apparent road rage incident. The victim’s windshield sustained a chip. The damage was valued at $110.00. The suspect was driving a Honda Civic. Complaint signing procedures were explained to the victim.

A Somerset, NJ resident was the victim of criminal mischief in the area of Daniel Dr. during the overnight hours. The victim’s drywall within a storage closet sustained damage valued at $300.00. The damaged was believed to have been caused by an intoxicated Hispanic female who was located in the area by patrol. Complaint signing procedures were explained to the victim.

Dylan Osuna, 24, of Elizabeth, NJ was arrested for obstructing the administration of law during an assault investigation in the area of Pleasant Plains Rd. Osuna interfered with officers on scene who were attempting to properly investigate the alleged assault. A Somerset, NJ resident was the victim of a theft between 05/15/21 and 05/15/26. The unknown suspect(s) stole a set of license plates from the victim’s closet. The victim became aware of the theft when he received a parking summons in the mail from an outside jurisdiction. The plates were entered stolen into a national database.

Jennifer M. Longo, 49, of North Brunswick, NJ was arrested by Rutgers University PD for an outstanding warrant out of our jurisdiction.
