Jacinda C. Garcia, 28, of Highland Park, NJ was arrested for hindering apprehension during a trespassing investigation at a business located in the area of Somerset St. Garcia was found inside of a business after hours and provided a false name to the investigating officers. Garcia also had outstanding warrants out of New Brunswick, NJ. Garcia was processed and turned over to New Brunswick PD. “NOTE: We are required by the Rules of Court to include herein a statement explaining that the charges are merely an accusation, and that the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.”

Marvin D. Bass, 48, of Somerset, NJ was arrested for an outstanding warrant out of the NJ State Police during a stolen motor vehicle investigation. Bass was processed and turned over to the NJ State Police. “NOTE: We are required by the Rules of Court to include herein a statement explaining that the charges are merely an accusation, and that the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.”

A business located in the area of Easton Ave. was the victim of a shoplifting during the afternoon hours. Employees observed an unknown black male exit the store without paying for merchandise valued at $180.00. The employees confronted the suspect in the parking lot and he dropped the merchandise. The male harassed the employees by making threats before fleeing the area.

A Somerset, NJ resident was the victim of a theft. The suspect made three unauthorized transactions utilizing the victim’s bank account. The victim suffered a total loss of $625.00. The victim believes the suspect is an ex-boyfriend.

A Somerset, NJ resident was the victim of a burglary and theft in the area of Shepherd St. during the overnight hours. An unknown suspect was captured on surveillance entering the victim’s unlocked vehicle. The suspect stole $2,500.00 from within.

A Somerset, NJ resident was the victim of a porch piracy on 05/30/26 in the area of Hamilton St. The unknown suspect(s) stole the victim’s delivered package. The contents were valued at $500.00.

A Somerset, NJ resident was the victim of a burglary and theft on 06/01/26 in the area of Easton Ave. The unknown suspect(s) entered the victim’s unlocked vehicle and stole his iPad, which was valued at $900.00. The iPad was entered stolen into a national database.

A Somerset, NJ resident was the victim of porch piracy on 05/13/26 in the area of Barron Cir. The unknown suspect(s) stole the victim’s delivered package. The contents were valued at $33.00.

A Bedminster, NJ business was the victim of a theft between 05/29/26 and 06/02/26 in the area of Wiley Dr. The unknown suspect(s) stole decommissioned cell tower equipment from a site. The stolen property was valued at $74,000.00.

Ibis J. Soto, 37, of Plainsboro, NJ was arrested for DWI during a motor vehicle crash investigation in the area of Somerset St. Soto was processed and released with a pending court appearance. “NOTE: We are required by the Rules of Court to include herein a statement explaining that the charges are merely an accusation, and that the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.”

Kurt J. Dozier, 57, of West Orange, NJ was arrested for an outstanding warrant out of our jurisdiction by the NJ State Police. The FTPD took custody of Dozier and he was released on his own recognizance after processing. “NOTE: We are required by the Rules of Court to include herein a statement explaining that the charges are merely an accusation, and that the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.”

A Somerset, NJ resident was the victim of porch piracy on 06/01/26 in the area of Foxwood Dr. The unknown suspect(s) stole two of the victim’s delivered packages. The contents were valued at $105.00.

06/05/2026

A Somerset, NJ resident was the victim of a theft in the area of Girard Ave. during the overnight hours. The unknown suspect(s) stole a license plate off the victim’s trailer. The plate was entered stolen into a national database.

A Somerset, NJ resident was the victim of a theft on 05/26/26. The unknown suspect(s) made several unauthorized withdrawals from the victim’s bank account. The victim suffered a total loss of $4,451.00.

06/06/2026

Penny Lee, 64, of Somerset, NJ was arrested for burglary during an investigation in the area of Bolton Ct. during the overnight hours. Lee was observed tampering with property after entering a vehicle that did not belong to her. Lee was processed and released on a summons. “NOTE: We are required by the Rules of Court to include herein a statement explaining that the charges are merely an accusation, and that the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.”

Patrol recovered a stolen motor vehicle from an outside jurisdiction in the area of Hempstead Dr. The vehicle was unoccupied and had a broken window and damaged dashboard. The reporting agency was notified of the recovery. The suspect(s) is unknown.

Yasmin Thompson, 38, of Somerset, NJ was arrested for an outstanding warrant out of our jurisdiction by Florham Park PD. The FTPD took custody of Thompson and transported her to the Somerset County Jail after she was processed. “NOTE: We are required by the Rules of Court to include herein a statement explaining that the charges are merely an accusation, and that the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.”

A Somerset, NJ resident was the victim of a theft in the area of Girard Ave. during the overnight hours. The unknown suspect(s) stole a motorcycle from the victim’s backyard. An unknown black male was observed in an outside jurisdiction riding the motorcycle. The motorcycle was entered stolen into a national database.

A Somerset, NJ resident was the victim of a burglary and theft in the area of Dutton St. during the evening hours. Two black males were observed on surveillance entering the victim’s garage and stealing a bike valued at $600.00. Patrol located two juvenile males in possession of the bike a few hours later. They were arrested and charged accordingly.
