Hunting Application Now Available Online
FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP WHITE-TAILED DEER CONTROL PROGRAM
2026-2027 HUNTING PERMIT APPLICATION
Franklin Township Council has approved the 2026-2027 hunting season for the purposes of deer management. As such, the Township has created an application package for the issuance of permits for hunting white-tailed deer on designated Franklin Township Open Space preserves and lands.
Application is available online at https://franklintwp.forms.govos.com/f/hunting
If you are unable to access the on-line portal, please contact Tara Kenyon, Land Preservation and Management Consultant, to obtain an emailed or mailed copy.
Once the application is received, processed and approved, a hunting permit, hunting button and parking pass will be issued.
Applications must be completed and returned by 4:00pm on Friday, August 14, 2026 via one of the following methods:

In order to be considered complete, the following must be included in each submitted application:
Completed Hunting Permit Application (due Monday, August 14, 2026)

Signed Acknowledgement of Franklin Township’s Deer Management Program’s Rules and Regulations

Signed “Indemnification and Hold Harmless Agreement”

Copy of a valid New Jersey hunting license
-
Copy of Liability Insurance (minimum of one million dollars)
