Road Closure-Resurfacing Project of Bunker Hill Rd

Please be advised that the Somerset County Department of Public Works will be conducting an overnight resurfacing project of Somerset County Rt. 632 which includes Bunker Hill Road from Canal Rd to Rt. 27, a section of Canal Road and the Griggstown Causeway.  

This overnight project is expected to begin on Friday September 29th 2017 and continue for 2-3 weeks depending on the weather.  

The hours are 8:00 PM-6:00 AM Monday-Friday.

For safety reasons this project will require a complete road closure, section by section and detours will be posted.  Residents living within the closure will have complete access to their homes however some delays may occur if equipment is moving in front of their driveways or fresh asphalt is being rolled.

Motorists are being asked to use caution while driving through the area however avoiding the area completely by seeking an alternate route is highly recommended.
