Not Quite Wine & Cheese" Art Opening

The "Not Quite Wine & Cheese" Art Opening is an annual celebration of local talent, hosted by Franklin Township to showcase the diverse creative works of its residents. Held every fall, this community-driven event invites artists across various mediums—including painting, photography, pottery, sculpture, and more—to display their original works for all to enjoy.

Inspired by the abundance of artistic talent discovered throughout Franklin Township, the event has quickly become a signature showcase, bringing together artists and art lovers alike. With a friendly atmosphere, a diverse selection of artists, and, of course, a variety of cheeses and other (alcohol-free) treats, the "Not Quite Wine & Cheese" Art Opening offers a perfect setting to appreciate the creativity that thrives right here in Franklin Township.

Whether you're an established artist, an emerging talent, or simply an admirer of art, this event provides a unique opportunity to connect with Franklin’s vibrant arts scene. Artists interested in participating are required to register in advance, with the event held in the fall at the Franklin Township Community Senior Center.

For more information on how to get involved or attend, please contact the Franklin Township Special Projects Office at special.projects@franklinnj.gov or 732.873.2500.
