Becoming an Intervenor in Northeast Supply Enhancement Project 

It's easier to do this than you think!

Step 1: Register

Click on this link to go to the registration page- https://ferconline.ferc.gov/eRegistration.aspx

  1. Fill-in your information on page 1

    • include name, email address & password you’ll use for this site. Write down your email & password used for FERC.

    • type all characters in the box provided (the Capchta)

  2. Click Next

  3. Enter address & phone number

  4. Click Next

  5. Click Done on the next page (ignore the text there)

    You should see a screen saying - “A verification e-mail has been sent to the e-mail address you specified.

    Please click on the link to validate your e-mail address and complete the FERC online registration process.”

  6. Check your e-mail

    Write down your FERC ID that is given in this email.

    • Click on the link to verify and complete your registration.

Step 2: Apply to be an Intervenor

  1. Click this link to log-in with your ID: https://ferconline.ferc.gov/Login.aspx

  2. Click the e-Filing link

  3. Enter Filing Type information:

    • Click “General” in the first column

    • Click “Intervention” in the second column

    • Click “(doc-less) Motion to Intervene” in the third column

    • Click "Next"

  4. Enter the Docket Number:

    • Enter CP17-101-007

    • Click “Search”

    • Click the blue + to Select

    • Click Next

  5. Intervention Description page:

  6. Filing Parties page:

    • Click “As an Individual”

    • Click Next

  7. Contacts page:

    • Enter your email

    • Click “Add as Signer”

    • Click Next

  8. Description page:

    • Just click Next

  9. Confirmation page:

    • Click Submit

You will receive 2 emails from FERC – 

(1) Receipt of Filing 

(2) Acceptance for Filing
