I hereby move to intervene in the proceeding for Docket No. CP17-101. I seek to intervene in opposition to the Northeast Supply Enhancement Project proposed by Transcontinental Gas Pipeline Company, LLC (Transco), a wholly owned subsidiary of Williams Partners L.P.  I have stakeholder interest as a contributing taxpayer, and my personal and public interests, which may be directly affected by the outcome of the proceedings, are because this project impacts the safety, health and wellbeing of my family, community and environmental resources. Air quality, water quality, health and safety are threatened by the potential for an explosion, due to human error or equipment malfunction, along with constant noise and emissions of toxic chemicals (that increase during blowdowns), and the impact from construction and operation of a compressor station on human life, wildlife, environmental resource and vegetation in my area. 

I respectfully request to be permitted to intervene in and be treated as a party to this proceeding with all rights appropriate to that status.

Years of efforts to cleanup and maintain the Raritan Bay have improved habitats for wildlife, marine mammals, fish and shellfish. The construction activities, vessels and equipment, noise, disruptions, and potential for chemical leakage from this Project could severely damage the Bay’s environment and economy (boating, fishing, tourism and related activities) that are reliant on clean water and healthy habitats. Also, there is danger of vessel strikes or collisions with marine mammals in the proposed pipeline area in the Bays. I appreciate and support the Raritan Bay’s ecosystem, wildlife habitat and recreational/commercial activities and do not want to see them impacted by this Project.
