For those residents who have Blue 20-Gallon Totes, you may get replacements at the Township Public Works Department located at 40 Churchill Avenue, M-F 7:30am to 2:30pm. Residents MUST surrender their unserviceable tote, and it will be replaced at no charge

Those wishing to purchase additional totes must do so from Somerset County Recycling, located at 40 Polhemus Lane, Bridgewater, NJ  732-469-3363

For those resident who have the Two-Wheeled Dual Stream Totes, you must have the totes replace or repaired by Somerset County Recycling, located at 40 Polhemus Lane, Bridgewater, NJ  732-469-3363.

Curbside Pickup for Large Metal Appliances

Pick up starts in April and ends in October -call 732-249-7800 for dates

The Township will pickup curbside the following large metal appliances for a fee. Curbside Pickup is available one Monday a month April through October.

 $ 25.00 each -  Refrigerator, Freezer, Air Conditioner or Dehumidifier
 $ 10.00 each -  Dryer, Washer, Dishwasher, Stove or Hot Water Heater

• Recyclables are processed into marketable post-consumer commodities.
• Provides First Saturday of the Month Recycling Drop-Off Program to county residents.

• Responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring of solid waste disposal methods for the county.
• Conducts periodic Household Hazardous Waste disposal programs.
• Coordinates the Adopt-A-Road and Backyard Composting Programs for Somerset County.
• Recycling Coordinator establishes prices through quoting of commodities in the various markets. Designs and implements special recycling programs throughout the county. Assists municipal recycling coordinators in program operations.
