I pledge to help transform Franklin Township, Somerset County, New Jersey, into a stigma-free community. I will strive to reduce discrimination by actively challenging stigma and promoting acceptance for individuals affected by mental health conditions and substance misuse. 

As a Stigma-Free Ambassador for Franklin Township, I intend to:

• Promote acceptance for individuals affected by mental health conditions and substance misuse by actively challenging stigma.
• Promote understanding of stigma by advocating for greater awareness and empathy through community education and open dialogue.
• Use respectful and supportive language and behavior that uplifts and honors the dignity of those impacted by mental health and substance use challenges.
• Empower residents to seek support and access the services they need and deserve, free from fear, shame, or judgment.
• By signing this pledge, I commit to being part of a movement that ensures individuals facing mental health and substance use challenges are consistently met with compassionate, support, and understanding. Together, we can foster an inclusive, joyous, and hopeful community for all.
