The Franklin Township Cultural Arts Council (FTCAC) was established by the Franklin Township Council in 2011. The components of the Arts Council are visual arts, literary arts and performing arts.

Since its inception, our mission of bringing our community together through the Arts has included sponsorship of Poetry readings by township students and local/regional authors, musical performances, and photography exhibits by township residents, acting classes, cultural celebrations, and more.

The construction of the Gazebo in yet another facet of the FTCAC’s mission, and we envision its future use for cultural events, wedding ceremonies, as well as patriotic and memorial ceremonies. The performance Gazebo octagonal architectural structure was chosen to represent our Township’s eight villages.
