CONVENIENCE CENTER

Re-Opens June 22nd

Location:  Corner of School Ave. & Berry St.

2020 Convenience Center Calendar 

A vehicle with two or four doors which has a separate trunk. A vehicle with no rear seat behind the driver’s seat except that : Pickup trucks may have a body no longer than eight feet, and trailer may have a body no longer than eight feet; All pickup trucks loaded more than twice the height of the body sidewalls will be changed for two trips

Open to Residents ONLY – ALL  RESIDENTS  MUST  present valid Driver’s License to verify residency to qualify and purchase a pass.

*COVID-19: All Municipal Offices are closed, but still operational

RULES AND INFORMATION:

Acceptable Items for Disposal (trip pass required):

  • Furniture

  • Rugs

Materials NOT Accepted for Disposal at the Convenience Center:

  • Renovation / Construction Materials / Debris – sheet rock, tile, concrete, brick, asphalt, rock, etc.

  • Grass, tree stumps, tree trunks or tree parts from below ground level

  • Railroad ties or Treated wood

  • Household garbage, food wastes, cooking oil

  • Hazardous Materials, pesticides, oil paint, chemicals, driveway sealer, etc**

  • Propane Tanks**

NOTE:

These Items may be accepted by Somerset County - See Somerset County Website for more information.

**These Items may be accepted by Somerset County Hazardous Waste Drop Off Days. See Somerset County Website for more information.

No Pass is required for the following recyclable items

(on the days the convenience center is open)

  • Newspaper

  • Cardboard

  • Metal Cans

  • Glass Bottles

  • Appliances (non-freon)

  • Light Metal

  • Brush – Shrub Trimmings, Hedge Clippings, branches not larger than 4” in diameter or 4 feet in length

  • Leaf Bags - All leaves must be in brown paper recyclable leaf bags and cannot be emptied.

  • Motor Oil

  • Household batteries

  • Electronics

  • Pickup of Mulch

All items must be sorted as required and deposited in proper receptacles provided.
